CONQUERING WCOPA
Jed Madela, the first ever Filipino to win the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) mentored Renz Amirul, a proud Pupian who brought home the bacon from the prestigious international competition.
Renz showed the world that hard work really pays as he conquered WCOPA and went home with not just one, but four medals from the competition. Furthermore, out of the thousands of contestants from 60 different countries who joined WCOPA, he was chosen as part of the 15 delegate-recipients for the scholarship privilege from the New York Film Academy, making him the only beneficiary among the 80 delegates that represented the Philippines.
