WHAT’S BEYOND THE FINISH LINE?
After a four-year period of preparation from the PUP- College of Communication, writing countless articles, waiting for lengthy queues and sacrificing sleep, Journalism students face a new challenge as they graduate --find their rightful place in a very competitive and fast-paced industry.
As attested by graduates, earning an exemplary General Weighted Average (GWA) does not make the leap easier and safer. Although CV’s seem more glittering with a ‘valedictorian’ label, experiences in applying are somewhat not so different. In this volume, we asked two valedictorians from their respective batches about how their quest for target careers and their venture into the media industry, turned out to be.
