Dr. Renato C. Vibiesca is a literary professor and the current chief of the Center for Language and Literary Studies in the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. This two-time recipient of the Don Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature, one of the most prestigious award-giving body for literature in the country has always been a true-blue PUPian, an artist, and a disciple of literature.

ANGELITO BAUTISTA

BA Communication Research (2011) SUMMA CUM LAUDE

A researcher, a consultant, but most importantly, a teacher.

Angelito, or Sir Tolits as his students call him, was the first ever summa cum laude who graduated from the College of Communication. But the consistent President's lister pushed himself not for the glory, but for his sense of duty to his family.

In the span of four years, he met four people that would greatly influence him. He dubbed them as the 4Rs: Dr. Racidon Bernarte, who introduced him to the world of research, Dr. Robert Soriano, who supported him along the way, Dr. Ronald Henson, his who taught him so much about his craft, and the late Dr. Robert Baldago, who opened so many doors for him.

A source of entertainment, of information, the television, for some serves as a portal to escape life's madness. But for Francis, or Kix as his friends call him, the television is an instrument of change. The power of commercial advertisements moved him, and he wanted to learn how to do the same for others.

A kid from Guiguinto, Bulacan who loved tuning in to news and dreamt of becoming a broadcaster someday, strived for excellence and is now one of the producers working with several influential journalists in the country.

Joselito Tan, an alumnus of the College of Communication in Polytechnic University of the Philippines with a degree in Broadcast Communication, is currently one of the segment producers of Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho and has worked alongside Ms. Jessica Soho herself.

"As long as para sa bayan yung ginagawa mo, at alam mo naman na may rason kung bakit mo ito ginagawa, magiging ligtas ka."
